Deux disques de nu-metal au carrefour du hardcore et du rap, parfois pour le mieux ("Encore"), parfois avec un peu de maladresses ("Des hommes bons") et déjà ces ambiances crasseuses singulières ("Samantha", "Animadversion"). Solide !

Borgne est un destructeur systématique : dans Royaume des ombres, comme ce corbeau qui sur la pochette semble tourner son regard interrogateur vers nous, il s'acharne à sonder notre âme pour mieux la briser en morceaux. Tout le talent de Borgne réside dans cette envie de gommer les frontières : le black metal industriel furieux, dans un affreux bal des morts, danse avec des sonorités doom (très perceptible dans "All these Screams through Me"). Un monument tortueux et torturé qui nous questionne.
